Endotrac™ - Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release Instrument

Instratek Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release (ECTR) System was designed to facilitate a reproducible, safe and effective decompression of the median nerve by dividing the transverse carpal ligament (TCL). Carpal tunnel syndrome is a painful and disabling disorder and studies have concluded that 98% of non-operative treatment modalities fail. In contrast a recent study of 14,722 patients at Brown Hand Center in Houston Texas, confirmed a 97% success rate using the Instratek (ECTR) with no iatrogenic neurovascular injuries. The Instratek ECTR system allows patients to resume normal unrestricted activity more quickly than traditional open techniques and does not require suturing of wound sites. Our patented bi-portal system includes procedure specific instrumentation to assist in precise placement of the cannula beneath the TCL providing full endoscopic visualization prior to division.
